I'm coming at this from the perspective of an abuse survivor, and this just makes me ill.
1. WHY does there exist this attitude that if survivors aren't waving their flag and shouting about their abuse, they haven't done any "soul searching?"
2. I really hate when a history of sexual abuse (real or even just perceived, as in this case) is used to discredit people.
3. How can people, bloggers and talk show hosts alike, not realize how bad of an idea it is to press people on disclosing an abuse history? If the person doesn't have a history of abuse, you sound like an asshole. If the person does have a history of abuse, you ARE an asshole. It took me a year to build a relationship with my therapist before I disclosed my history, and that in itself was traumatic. Recalling abuse to someone isn't just like shooting the shit with an old friend. It's reliving the experience. Demanding someone do that just to prove a fucking point is bullshit.
And yes, designating an entire group of people to be unfit for reproduction is beyond ridiculous. Bah.
I got half way through watching that original show on You Tube and had to switch off because TB came across a sanctimonious cow who makes my blood boil (although I could be kind and wonder if she was told by her producer to take the 'holier than thou' slant for this program).

I have read too many things about the humiliating things women have been put through on their day jobs.
